For me, spatial planning is the implementation of social components into a spatial context. In my view, what is important for location development is the functioning interaction of the diverse user groups and of the spatial components. European spatial planning is a new opportunity to promote understanding among peoples. In every transnational project, a mutual understanding has to be established before it is possible to work together. I enjoy the management of networked projects with EU subsidy despite all of the difficulties and the differences in how to attain results.
